Marking its first year at the St. Petersburg Pier, the 2007 St. Pete Bike Fest took over the local landmark with motorcycles and their drivers from all over Florida and beyond its state lines. Drivers came from northern Florida, Clearwater, Bermuda and New York, among other places.
Over 5,000 bike enthusiasts attending the event, which took place on Oct. 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event featured vendors, motorcycle dealers, engine displays and drag races. Bike enthusiasts lined up their motorcycles on the main road to the pier giving people many different things to look at besides the vendors.
Big names like Harley Davidson and Victory Motorcycles each had tents and vendors set up, allowing potential customers to get a first-hand look at some of the bikes on display. A full staff was there to answer questions asked by attendees. The highlight of the event, for many patrons attending the festival, were the Dyno Drag shootouts.
With perfect weather, great food and an awesome collection of motorcycles, the St. Pete Bike Fest is an event for all types of motorcycle enthusiasts. To see our images gallery from this event click here |
